BIO

Thank you for visiting my website.  I graduated in Fine Art with BA (Hons) Class 1 in 2012 and now work as a fully qualified Art Teacher of ages 11 -18.

In 2008 my piece, ‘Relaxing Dancer’ was shortlisted and exhibited by the Royal Academy’s A-Level Summer Exhibition Online.

From 2008-09 I studied at Winstanley College where I achieved the Kate Bentham Award for my work.

From 2013- 2015 I was a member of the young person's group, Tate Collective, working to produce a Tate endorsed Festival. During this time I worked alongside established curators to create exhibitions and gained experience as a speaker and workshop leader.

The experience gained from these opportunities guided me to continue to pursue my passion in art as a figurative portrait artist, pet pawtrait artist, and directed me to share this knowledge with others by becoming an Art and Design Teacher.

In the years since, I have enjoyed developing my skills in a wide variety of materials so that I can produce work in a range of versatile styles to suit your vision; with oil paint, graphite, coloured pencil, digital media and more. I love to produce work which has an impact, either as a bold tonal image, or a vibrant spirited artwork, always with an attention to the finer details.

I believe that a portrait can say so much more about an individual than a photograph can, and I  take great care to work closely with my clients to capture the personality of subjects, generating an artefact which can be treasured for a lifetime as a legacy to its sitter.
